Science-based guided breathing app

I created synappro breathe as the first product under the synappro brand. The app was built to help people use the power of their breath to manage stress, improve focus, and feel more connected to their bodies. I designed and coded the app myself in SwiftUI, making it intuitive, accessible, and visually engaging.

The app is based on scientific research into breathing. All studies are listed within the app and on our website, so users can see exactly where the evidence comes from. In keeping with synappro’s principles, synappro breathe is a one-time purchase, ad-free, and 100% data secure.

• iCloud synchronisation for user-defined breathing cycles across all devices

My responsibilities:

• Designed and coded the app from scratch
• Recorded and implemented voice narration (including randomisation to avoid repetitiveness)
• Implemented iCloud syncing between devices
• Created App Store promotional material (video and screenshots) including compositing original music for video

• Affinity Designer 2 (App Store screenshots and in-app tutorial graphics)
• Final Cut Pro (App Store video)
• Logic Pro (original music for App Store video, and voice narration recording and editing)
